It is vital in the absorption of water and movement of digestion. You will realise how dehydrated you can become if you have diarrhoea as there is nothing to slow down the water coming through your colon. Fibre is vital for the bacterias in our gut to have a healthy eco-system to live.
Every plant food, grain, seed, nut, leaf, root have fibre; only fats, sugar and animal products do not. So eat some of these fibre foods with every meal.
Fibre will also make you fill more full and help slow blood sugar spikes.
